Rottweilers teeth grow from four to 6 months, therefore mouthing is very common then. And it is essential to control this mouthing habit of your rotweiler at an early age.
Often rottweiler puppies mouth our hands during excitement or when playing and puppies usually do this more to children than adults. And it is up to you to control this habit of your pup.You can use the steps mentioned below to train your dog puppy.
In the beginning, a rottwieler will use his mouth to investigate his environment. Throughout the teething process, it keeps the dog happy to chew on all manner of items, no matter how hard it is.
Give your rottweiller some chew toys with unique textures to help fulfill their chewing requirements properly with puppy training. You can also use frozen carrots or fiber bones for satisfying chewing needs of your pups.
The instant when your puppy starts chewing on you just make him realize that you are in pain no matter if she has actually twinged at your skin. Just let out a scream, by doing so she will be frightened and will leave you.
You may wish to offer the back of your hand for your pup to lick. By doing this, not only are you instructing him that our skin is tender, but also that you expect a sign of deference (licking your hand) for their action.
Reward the pup for his good habits. Puppies respond eagerly and quickly to rewards that motivate. You may also choose to assign a order like "no bite" or "no mouth", so he will associate his behavior with your correction. This method should work with the average, eager-to-please puppy.
Some pups go out of control soon. They continue playing and nipping, avoiding what is said to them. Things will quickly get out hand and someone could end up injured if not controlled. Smile if it is not your pup!
